What is going on with Travel 2021?

As COVID-19 begins to be under better control and vaccinations become more widespread are both very encouraging signs that some normalcy will soon be achieved. This being said what is going on in the travel industry. We wanted to point out some of the high level information you should know before you go.

Walt Disney World Resort:

  • Based on recent trends and guidance, Walt Disney World Resort has continued to make changes to health and safety measures, as well as beginning to bring back some beloved experiences.
  • To enter a park, both a park reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same date are required for Guests ages 3 (three) and up.

Disney Land Resort:

  • Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are now open.
  • To enter a theme park, Guests (ages 3 and older) will need a valid ticket and a theme park reservation for the same day and same park they want to visit.
  • The State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort. Unvaccinated Guests must wear face coverings when indoors.
  • If planning to travel, please check and follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations and any State travel advisories.
  • Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel have begun a phased reopening with reduced capacity. The Disneyland Hotel will plan to reopen on July 2, 2021, with reduced capacity.

Disney Cruise Line:

  • Disney Dream departures through August 6, 2021, Disney Fantasy departures through August 28, 2021, Disney Wonder departures through September 19, 2021, and Disney Magic departures in the US through November 4, 2021, are suspended.

Adventures by Disney is continuing to assess future travel operations on a destination-by-destination basis.

Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa has begun a phased reopening.

Updated Safety Guidelines

In accordance with CDC guidelines, face coverings are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests, indoors or outdoors. While we do not require proof of vaccination, we do expect those who are not fully vaccinated to wear face coverings while indoors. We encourage all guests to keep a safe distance between travel parties, and we remain focused on maintaining the highest cleanliness and sanitization standards.

Here are the latest safety updates for your visit.

  • Face coverings are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests

  • Guests who are not fully vaccinated* are still expected to wear face coverings while indoors

Please note the CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. Guests should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend. People who show no symptoms can spread COVID-19 if they are infected, any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19, and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during your visit.

Royal Caribbean Group – Cruise with Confidence – Extended!

Dear Valued Travel Clients,

Effective, February 1, 2021, for all bookings created by July 31, 2021, on sailings on or before April 30, 2022, you will have the flexibility to cancel your cruise up to 48 hours prior to sailing and receive a full credit of the cruise fare paid. The Future Cruise Credit can be used for a cruise on or before September 30, 2022. “Best Price Guarantee” allows us to change the price and promotional offer on your reservation up to 48 hours before you cruise. The ability to “Lift and Shift” reservations will be available to us through January 31, 2021.

The program applies to all cruises with sailing dates on or before April 30, 2022, and across all brands: Royal Caribbean International, and Azamara. For Celebrity Cruises, the extension applies to sailings before May 4, 2022. – Let’s GO.

Suspension Updates:

For Royal Caribbean International this includes all sailings through June 30, 2021, including Spectrum of the Seas sailings, 4/30/2021 – 5/26/2021 and Voyager of the Seas sailings, 4/29/2021-5/27/202. This suspension excludes sailings for: Quantum of the Seas, Odyssey of the Seas, Adventure of the Seas and Voyager of the Seas.

For Celebrity Cruises, global operations are suspended for all sailings through June 30, 2021. This excludes the newly announced return to service sailings on Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Millennium and Celebrity Silhouette.

For Azamara Cruises, the following have been cancelled: Azamara Journey sailings departing on July 16, 2021, through September 29, 2021, and Azamara Pursuit sailings departing on July 10, 2021, through September 14, 2021. Ships will return to service as follows: Azamara Quest: August 28, 2021, Azamara Journey: October 13, 2021, and Azamara Pursuit: September 28, 2021.
